COLORADO SPRINGS DENTIST

Dr. Ross Thompson was born and raised in rural Minnesota. He graduated in 2014 from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He then went on to receive his dental education at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors in 2018. While in dental school, Dr. Thompson was selected for a dental scholarship through the Air Force. Immediately following graduation, he began active duty and completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB) in Omaha, Nebraska. During this program, Dr. Thompson completed advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry, including sedation, complex surgical extractions, dental implant restorations, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Thompson then practiced general dentistry at the United States Air Force Academy and Peterson AFB. He prides himself on his warm chair side manner and makes every effort to ensure his patients are well informed and comfortable. After serving 6 years in the Air Force, Dr. Thompson is beyond excited to join the wonderful team at Briargate Dental Center and serve the Colorado Springs Community with all your dental needs.

Dr. Thompson has been married to his wife, Erin, for 5 years and they have an 8 month old daughter, Sophia, and 3 year old French Bulldog named Breck. When he is not practicing dentistry, you can find him outdoors enjoying all the activities Colorado has to offer. He loves to golf, snowboard, fly fish, and play hockey. Dr. Thompson has stayed true to his Minnesota roots and continues to cheer for the Vikings, Wild, and Twins, even though they let him down year after year.
